First impressions with Vista final release - Part 1
Written by Babul A. Mukherjee

I've run 6 beta builds of Vista in the last 12 months. With my new laptop coming in little under a month ago, I haven't had time to actually load the final release which we've had since the beginning of the year.

Vista installs with so few interruptions - its so much nicer to install. Can't wait to automate it fully and push it out over the network. But first things first....

This time around, my new Duo 2.0ghz laptop with 1gb of RAM gave a 4.2 Windows Performance Index! Much better than the 2.7 I got last time around.
